Safety Policies and Procedures

In order to maintain social distancing to the best of our ability while ensuring continuity of care to our community, we have heightened disinfecting procedures. This may result in longer wait times.

Companions are limited to patients who require assistance only. If you do not need to enter the facility, please wait in your vehicle. If our waiting room is at capacity, we will request you wait in your vehicle until you are called for your exam.

All individuals MUST wear a mask/face covering. Anyone entering our facility will be screened, have their temperature taken and must clean their hands.

If you are vulnerable, elderly or immunocompromised, we strongly encourage you to schedule your appointment first thing in the morning.

If you are not feeling well or do not have to visit, for everyone’s protection, please stay home.

PATIENTS, if you have a diagnosis of coronavirus or TWO of these symptoms:

  1. Fever within the past 24 hours
  2. Cough
  3. New onset of shortness of breath
  4. New loss of taste or smell
  5. Chills
  6. Muscle pain
  7. Sore throat
  8. Hadache
  9. Repeated shaking with chills

OR had direct exposure to someone with confirmed COVID-19 or been told to self-quarantine, PLEASE DO NOT come to our facility. If you have questions or symptoms, we encourage you to CALL your primary care physician for further instructions.

PHYSICIANS, please do not send any patients to MDI that are suspected for COVID-19 or coronavirus. We are not equipped for isolating patients.
